The students and staff at LVDC took part in a 3-day cycle from Mwanza to Musoma, covering a distance of 240kms to help raise funds to start constructing a new training and rehabilitation centre for the disabled in Mara.

On World Disability Day, LVDC also hosted a charity sports day to create greater community awareness about the rights of disabled people and the value of this social group to society.
